Beatie studied Dietetics at Leeds Metropolitan University and since qualifying have worked in the community with adults and children.  Working as a Paediatric Dietitian, she specialised in dietary issues surrounding Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy and Down’s Syndrome, working closely with OTs, Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists. Her interests in this area lie particularly in fussy eating associated with sensory difficulties. 

She provides specialist advice and treat difficulties with weaning, children who are fussy eaters, can devise and monitor diets to support medical conditions, as well as child obesity.
