Autumn 2010 ELKLAN Training course
Starting in September 2010 we will be running the ELKLAN course ‘Speech and Language Support in the Classroom’. This is a ten week course which is designed for classroom assistants and teachers who want to understand more fully how to help children who are struggling with Speech and Language issues.

The Centre is a recognised training provider of the ELKLAN and Signalong training programmes. We hope to soon be a recognised training provider for several other well known training packages. Please have a look in our fact sheets for more information.
We run a range of training programmes for parents / teaching staff including:
- Signalong training for parents, schools and other services working with children
- ELKLAN training for teachers and learning support assistants - Children with speech and language and communication difficulties need trained adults supporting them to enable them to enjoy and learn every day. Elklan works to support parents, education and health staff in meeting these children's needs by providing accredited training from 2 - 16 years.
- Communication Skills training and seminars for teachers, parents and professionals working with children.
- Developing fine motor skills and handwriting training and seminars for teachers, parents and professionals working with children.
- Developing attention and listening skills Training and Seminars for teachers, parents and professionals working with children.
